The IFAI-Tent Rental Division (TRD) Tent Expo 2011 was recently held at Tradewinds Resort in St. Pete Beach, FL January 24-27. This year’s theme “Work Hard- Play Hard” could have easily been changed to “Don’t mess with mother nature”
The show kicked Monday morning with the usual training sessions and seminars followed by the TRD annual golf outing. Most tent manufactures spent Monday afternoon driving stakes and setting baseplates getting ready for the 8:00am tent installation scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Aztec Tents has unveiled an entirely new web experience focused on driving business back to its customers. The new site, www.TidewaterTents.com was launched to correspond with Aztec’s ongoing advertising campaign, which aims to showcase “how much better a tent company can be.”

Aztec Tents offers a wide variety of tent liners for use in frame tents, pole tents, and clearspan structures. All of our liners are constructed from an Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR) polyester fabric that will never need to be retreated. The two different styles of liners we produce are "Pleated" and "Smooth". Most all of our liners are built to be expandable to allow you to continue to add length as your inventory grows. The seams are joined with a simple hook & loop connection.
Aztec Tents offers a wide selection of products to help maintain your inventory as it ages. Included are various chemicals designed specifically for cleaning tent vinyl, and well as an assortment of materials to patch holes, tears, and/or abraisions in your tent fabric.
Our newly designed Repair Kit includes a DVD with the kit to show you how to best use the products to repair your tent fabric.
Raingutters are used when connecting two tents together to help minimize water flow in the area where the tents are joined. The two common styles include the "Standard Gutter" which drains water one direction only, and the "Festival Gutter" which drains in two directions.
Although larger gutters are possible and can be fabricated, we recommend the maximum length to a single gutter be no longer than 20'. Multiple gutters can be used together in longer lengths, however you will need to account where the water will drain and how that will affect the space.
