Aztec’s steadfast growth continued in 2010 with the addition of more than 200 new customers. This continued success can be attributed to dedicated campaigns in product development, customer service and price-competitive sales programs. These elements, combined with the most extensive field sales and service team in the industry made for a very successful year.

Aztec has the most comprehensive product offering in the tent industry combining the entire Aztec product line along with our Compatible Plus line and most recently the Tidewater Sail Cloth Tent line of tent products. Aztec customers are not limited to single product line of tents and tent products like they would be with other manufacturers. In 2010, the Compatible Plus line continued to grow and offered new products including the addition of the Series 1800 Tension Tent in 30’ and 40’ widths, the Can-T and Can-W cross cable frame systems and Indianatrac, Seattletrac and Carolinatrac keder-style frame tops. The Tidewater Tent Sail Cloth line saw the addition of the 51’ width as well as a complete line of frame systems. Aztec’s R & D and Production arms continue to work on new products and product development for 2011 and 2012. Aztec’s past experience as a major player in the southern California and national tent rental markets gives us the unique ability to look at new product development from a “tent renters” perspective. This perspective encapsulates years of field experience and trial and error so that when a product lands on your dock, it is ready to rent and endure the trials and tribulations of the tent industry.

Aztec continues to lead the tent industry with the largest employee sales force in the country. Aztec’s Regional Account Managers (RAM’s) are Aztec employees, not independent manufacturer’s representatives. This means that when an Aztec RAM calls on you; their attention and concerns relate to you and Aztec only, they are not trying to sell you table cloths, heaters and folding chairs – just tents. Our inside sales and customer support is unrivaled with years of industry experience and a response time that is second to none. This experience doesn’t stop there. When Aztec purchased Academy’s manufacturing assets in 2004, they had the unique opportunity to blend the best workers from both manufacturing operations. Not only did this bolster the quality, knowledge and experience of this staff, but it presented the opportunity to share information, skills and technologies as well. Aztec’s senior management team also contributes significant experience as their combined industry involvement totals more than 120 years.

Competitive pricing and creative sales incentives provide additional opportunities for Aztec’s growth. Aztec offers published multi-option incentive programs to tent dealers all year long giving them different choices for purchasing equipment. The incentive programs don’t just stop there either, Aztec has partnered with Allied Financial Services and offers two lease options that are also available all year long. These options include the 0-18-5 and 0-30-10 lease programs where the lessee has the ability to select a payment term with zero interest, and a fixed buyout cost. Aztec also works closely with several other leasing companies if different needs are required.

Aztec’s industry experience, proactive approach to business and customer service, and their ability to address and relate to customer needs makes for a formula of success that continues to drive new business their way. If the first quarter of 2011 is any indication of what is to come, the balance of this year should keep Aztec moving strongly ahead into 2012.
